"Be Yourself"
Your culture is something that the system likes to rob
It makes you forget what you are made of and some day you will sob
The system makes you live in places that you hate
It is built to break you and force you to accept your fate
If you work hard, why must your turn wait?
We are the majority but the system denies it
It labels us the minority and robs our identity
It says that we are not qualified and makes us work miserable jobs
And as we scrub filthy plates, the future is covered by fog
The system makes us lose our culture by letting us feel lower than a dog
Do not forget your culture and the sacrifices your parents made
Always follow their sincere principles, before they fade
Accept yourself the way you are, before you are filled with hate and they start to talk
Accept yourself the way you were made and don't assimilate to something you're not
"Diamonds"
When we spend these months apart
I just cannot take any more of it
Will these days become years, or do these days feel like years?
I hate being without you baby
You are my crave but I do not desire your touch
If I asked for your lips in a kiss
Would I be asking for too much?
I don't want to lose you baby
Is it so hard to adapt with the times?
Or is it me who hasn't given time a chance?
No matter how hard I try to prevent this
It always happens again
The unattainable one is always the one to chase
Yet feeling like a fool again is something that I don't want to face
"Maybe in time" I always say
But in the end she, or someone like her never stays
I have plenty of love ballads for you on my stereo
Yet in the end of the day, our relationship is like static on the radio
"Evolution"
Today is different
There are different dimensions, for different days
Yesterday evolves to today
And soon today will be yesterday
Speed in a car with diesel fuel
Rob a country of priceless jewels
Pseudo realities, for the pseudo in you
Fucking failures, for the fool in you
Dance with the whores at bay
Porn is legal tender, forever to stay
Hypocrisy is cancer, killing all, day by day
We are whores for our greed
Do anything for money, so it seems
You march to the beat of your own drummer
But sometimes you fall in a ditch
Never change and be rejected
What is the definition of acceptance?
Cliché, but life's a bitch
We are all creepy spiders, crushed by every witch
Change and change every day
Loyalty drowns in vain
"Inanity"
Here today and gone tomorrow
Love today and fear tomorrow
Friendship is born, but folly caused the sorrow
Paranoid by the ringing of bells
Prosecute the fools is their mission
Devilish knocks and condemning voices, are the definition of submission
Not all questions can be answered with honesty

Friendship creates priceless memories
But a cold reality is sometimes hard to face

He questions the meaning of life
He questions the foreshadowing on a dark and dreary night
He questions why he resurrected something that was already dead
He swears that he will never do it again
Then again, security of shelter means all

"Nun"
Edna drowned in vain
For deception goes both ways
It is such a drug for me
Did that symbolic ecstasy make you forget who you are?
So many rules but only fools live by those standards
Cheat and drink the ecstasy’s nectar, these sins will damn her
Did I believe in you?
Or was I impatient?
Such a long road we walked
Such a short road we ran
Knock on wood, she hates herself again
The mirror stares back at her, she fucks again
Free prizes are not a great deal
Stay away from her if you can
She rubs the crucifix again, she drowns in sand
Daddy’s little girl is now a middle aged man’s favorite whore
Abortion after abortion, she dies a little each day
She rubs and rubs, she feels no pain
She had so many men but they robbed her of being human
She wallows in the self created art she calls misery
The mirror laughs back at her, she cries again
Her soul is owned by the red devil in her head
She steps on the latter and forgot to breathe
She unties the noose, for she is already dead
"The Black Cloud"
You follow me every where I go
Where you will strike next, I will never know
When you get knocked down, you want to get back up
But sometimes negativity is too thick and you are out of luck
And if you cannot stand the thought of a new day, then you're fucked
Sometimes the pressure is so strong that I am red
Mistakes pile up and I wish I listened to what she said
Some say that adversity is just a series of bad events, but I strongly disagree
I say that misfortune is a massive black cloud that could pour down at any moment, wouldn't you agree?
Sometimes I struggle with the devil like if my life was far from being serene
Criticism is poison to all, and when you find fault in all, you begin to lose your soul
If rain symbolizes a series of unfortunate events, then let the rain pour
Because when you get beat up a few times, you need to become a soldier
If you were born an underdog, then you learn how to fight to the death
Underdogs must fight until only grace is left
"The Silent Ring"
She questions why this happened to her
Why love from someone else drifted upon her shore
She wonders when the heart beats will stop beating on her door
Very loud, but very alone is sad but true
Love must be vague to protect all of the parties involved
Yet heart ache is never resolved
No one else can admire her like her own being
Divorce rates are so high because we lie
Sex has all of the right reasons
But we fall in love for all of the wrong reasons
She wonders why she can't call him
The phone rings but the static from stubbornness drops the connection
If love is like the economy, then it is always in a recession
"What is the World Coming to?"
You have blood on a sweaty gym floor
No sex, so he wasted them
You have blood in a big classroom
No friends, so he blew them all away
You have death in a steaming bathtub
No love, so she scolded her children
You have a black man, in a white man's home
No faith, so the public blamed it all on him
You have an innocent family in a ghetto neighborhood
No justice, so the passing car stole her son
You have socializing on internet networks,
No concern, so she will forget the energy they once had
You have Bill, who praises conservatism
No morals, so daddy's litter girl became a whore
You have cell phones with many features
No communication, so we always feel alone
You have a nation with advanced technology
No compassion, so we let those victims drown
You have fossil fuel that capitalism exploits
No justification, so we pray for soldiers who are puppets for our greed
You have Michael Jackson
No more laughs, for he is gone
You have psychiatrists who diagnose your level of madness
No results, so those pills only make you crazier
You have doctors who vow to save your life
No real promises, so your doctors are your drug dealers
You have kids, who are born with AIDS
No insurance, so those kids lives will fail to stay
You have everyone keeping their love far away
No love for you or me, so what is the world coming to today?
“My Dearest”
She has the eloquence of a snow fall
Her smooth stride makes her walk tall
And her determination is far from small
She makes hearts beat and break
And the men around her are very palpable
She is my dearest and most admirable
Who would have thought that we could have come this far?
If life can be juxtaposed with a cookie jar
Then let us not hold back and reach for the stars
I am addicted to you
Give me too much and I get sick of you
If you are not by my side and in my veins, then I cannot live without you
I want your pulse close to me
We are living in post war times
Our war in our world that helped us grow inside
I hope that you can see
That we do not always agree
But I will miss you
With my arm around you
I will protect you
With our uncontrollable laughter
I will kiss you
And when our hearts meet
I will always love you
“Reborn”
The sands of time are running
Winds are shifting and smiles are growing
Closure commences and personality evolves
The moves are being made and the bags will be packed
This is the next stage and it is time to step up
Rather you support me or not, you will not stop me
For no one can judge unless they ride on your road
This is just the start of the tale
All other battles fought were apart of a prequel
Do not cry for me, for my presence was apart of this abyss long enough
The legend said you do not know what you have until it's gone
Your commodity is gone and it will evolve
The Lord guides your step in the wind
A new home with familiar faces
Beautiful souls and unlimited potential to connect
Disconnected for too long, does anyone feel the void?
Innocent creature always gives love yet does not need to whisper words
And she understands too well
It is a new start for aspects that should never be denied

She is tough but she gives me true love
Will she come along for the ride?
The sun will set soon on this chapter

I speak to you in parables
For clarity is not so clear
Can you hear my whispers?
For my whispers are singing the melody of your name
Can you feel my warmth?
For your intentions with me are unclear
Can you hear my whispers?
Or is love in this world so hard and rare?
Sleepless nights and foolish day dreams
Is this my cross to bear?
I cast a shadow like the trees above
For your presence is so far away
Priceless memories, waiting impatiently for the next day
Soaring like the doves above is the only way
For I will fly across the depths of time to find you
I will flap my wings so that we can share another day
And hopefully one day we will say that we obtained genuine blessings
Behind these sorrowful eyes lies my soul
Within this burning fire lies my heart
Walk away, no do not walk away
Maybe this was not meant to be
But I pray that you may see
For every fever breaks a sweat and breaks you down
This fever comes back every season
But will it be your soul to finally reason?
Will you be my remedy or will you walk away?
Shadows cast, she walked away
Genuine love, she is here to stay
Setting Sun, Rising Moon
Fort it is a thousand painful memories a boy will have so soon
Blank faces disappeared without a trace
Meditate in closed eye grace
This is not a taste of what is to come
For irony is the metaphor and revelation of life
And poetry is the path to peace
They walked away and yelled “check please” along the way

The words in this poem could be poetic
But in reality, they are just an explanation
Words to explain to you, why I love you
I am trying to be honest
And I wish I could say these words to your face
Maybe in time I will, or maybe I may never will
I could pour my heart out to you, like I did on that day
But you might just be silent and be afraid of me
I am sorry that I had to put you through this
I have to explain to you that I am a giver
And what I give the most is love
I am also a desirer
And what I desire the most is love
We are all ambitious and go to any lengths for our greed
I had a fantasy long ago and lived it for awhile
It was a mistake
I stumbled and moved on
Then you came along
I am reminded of your presence by so many songs
When you live in the moment and meet new people
You do not know the significance of meeting that person
When you are in a dark state of your life
You pray so that the powers above can give you a ray of light
And so, you were my light, and the fantasy I wanted to relive through new chapters
In the untrained eye, chasing you is a mistake
In life, love has no restraints
Even you are capable of love because you made me feel it, when I needed it the most
We are all hypocrites because we always fall in love with someone new
I live in the moment and not worry about who I will love next
Right now I choose to love you, and if I cannot have you, then I am at peace
Because loving you, makes me love the world
For the world holds love like you
